The surprise of birthing new life into the world... becomes an opportunity for Michelle to truly live into Ecstatic Joy of Being and experience a rite-of-passage into Motherhood!

I have had a few readings with reputable psychics/healers, all of whom have acknowledged that this ‘old soul’…Crystal Child…is most definitely coming into the world to truly make a difference.

To share with you the truly most unusual circumstances of my conception…I am delighted to introduce to you the unique work I am trained to do as an Energy Therapist.  I have been able to assist many women in successfully conceiving and getting pregnant where other methods thru Conventional Medicine have not (see Testimonial below) . This success thru an Alternative Medicine type approach can be contributed to the fact that as Energy Healers we address unraveling long standing patterns in the Auric Field that are affecting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the person. Other methods are simply addressing the more limited aspects of the physical person.  Although Energy Therapy is not a substitute for primary or conventional medicinal care…it can work beautifully hand in hand with these traditional methods…and it is also a very distinct possibility that in many of these cases…it is truly the more emotional or spiritual aspects of the woman that calls to be addressed to achieve results.  With the gentle, non-invasive approach of Vibrational Healing…women can be successfully relieved of stagnant energy in their Chakra system (present and past lifetime)...esp. around the second chakra which correlates with the female sexual organs.  It is also true that many women in my practice have been relieved of emotional and physical pain in their bodies by doing sessions focused esp. in the female organ areas that have addressed patterns/post-partum trauma in the field extending from Ectopic Pregnancies, C-Sections and past pregnancies.  Both Chakra Reconstruction and other Vibrational Modalities have been successful in relieving pain for many of my female clients.  In any physical disease we experience…it will manifest in our auric field first.  The work in the chakras consists in going to the root of the problem in a subtler and deeper way. The most compelling aspect of my work as an Energy Therapist and the unusual dynamics around my pregnancy is that in one of my sessions at the end of 2008 with a client who had an intention to get pregnant (and eventually did this past March)…I had such a profound experience of opening to the divine realms (…as a healer I am a conduit or facilitator of the energy/magic honoring the sacred and divine creator/god/goddess energy) that suffice to say I felt I had the experience of an “Immaculate Conception’.  (And of course I mean no disrespect to Religious people who may consider this comment blasphemous.  This was simply my experience of this unbelievable and sacred event!) The session was so beautiful that it was beyond my comprehension.  I thought to myself that if that woman did not get pregnant after the session…I ‘would be a Monkey’s Uncle’ to put it lightly.  It was compelling and profound and had me in tears most of the session as it seemed that the heavens parted and the angelic realms were taking over my whole being.  I thought who am I to be taking on such a great work for women?  Well humorously enough…looking back now…I believe that as we are an extension of our own work…we can’t help but be subject to the miraculously intended outcomes…if not our own…but thru spirit’s divinely covert actions! It was just shortly after that session…that in fact I, Michelle Ann Bastian, ended up conceiving and getting pregnant with my first child…a baby girl…Angelina ‘Angel’ Harmony’!!  I can honestly say there were things for me to clear in my field around bringing a child into the world prior to 2012…an auspicious time for us on the planet…and little did I know that the divine was doing a great work thru me to facilitate bringing this special being into the world.  Interestingly I have found as I share with others…It truly brings credibility to the work I have been gifted to do and has truly transformed my being around children and natural childbirth.  Part of my positive intentions in producing a segment on Natural Childbirth is to be able to communicate to the world many of the special and unusual aspects of this pregnancy and using alternative methods for holistic birthing that is in natural harmony with the mother and child.  It seems I have been uniquely called to take on the ‘mission’ with my own experience!

My Intentions are to use this experience to demonstrate Natural Childbirth/Home Birth complete with a Midwife & Doula support team.
In 1909…100 years ago…95% of all births were Home Births. Women since Ancient Times have successfully given birth vaginally without the assistance of Modern Medicine complete with epidurals and narcotics (affecting the mother & baby), pitocin, episiotomies and C-sections.   
My intention in embracing the natural path is to include alternative therapies/methods in the process like Water Birthing, Accupuncture, Yoga, Sound Healing (High Vibrational Music & Vocalization/Breathing), Massage, Birthing Ball, TENS unit…(used in Chiropractic care for relieving nerve pain in lower back), Chiropractic (prior to birth…Webster method), Aromatherapy (ie; diffuser in room with relaxing scents like lavender and other oils to support birthing like Clary Sage as well as formulas by Young Living Oil like Clariderm to support perineum, reduced susceptibility to tearing and proper post partum healing) and Energy Healing.  I am choosing the Water Birthing process because of the easing of pain and that it will support the lubrication of the baby and reduce the incidence of tearing.  It is also natural to allow the natural process of the umbilical cord pulsating with the cord blood and stem cells to the baby without it being cut right away as they do in a hospital environment.  Also unique to natural childbirth is using colostrum applied to the baby’s eyes upon arrival and allow the baby to crawl on its own from the belly to the breasts to breastfeed. 
The most humorous aspect of this auspicious ‘surprise pregnancy’ is that I literally did not know I was pregnant for 4 ½ months! I have laughed with others about the fact that this was a Spiritually Covert operation…that my little Angel was destined to come thru me at this time such that Spirit made sure I bled for 3 months…making me think I was having a period (….called ‘implantation bleeding’ that can occur anywhere between 1-6 months) …until I missed and then discovered on May 18th…with an at home test…that in fact I was pregnant.  However, I did not realize how far along I was until I went to the Women’s Center on May 21st… a clinic that offers complimentary ultrasounds to determine the viability of the fetus…as 1 out of 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. (see ultrasound below with poem) The Ultrasound director…scheduled me for a last minute appointment when I went in…even though I thought I was only a month along…only for us to discover…in looking at a full grown fetus with a head, arms, legs and a heart beating like crazy that I was in fact 22 weeks along to my surprise! She said in her 30 years in Gynecology she had never heard of such a thing...that I would have bled all those months and not known.  Other than minor weight gain and a bit of unusual tiredness…there were no signs that gave me any clue I was pregnant. 
Later as I discovered information around implantation bleeding from the book ‘Skinny Bitch…Bun in the Oven’’ as well as talking to another friend who had the same thing happen to her when she was 22 (and chose to have an abortion as she felt she was too young to bring this being into the world and did not consider adoption)…I realized this is critical information that every young woman should be taught in High School in Sex Ed class.  It is not any easy decision by any means to choose to do what my friend did at 22 at this point in the pregnancy. A woman could risk her own life to have a procedure at this point or certainly her future of having children.  I have asked every woman possible if they ever knew that they could bleed on their period for up to 6 months and still be pregnant and none of them have heard of such a thing before. I know I can’t be the only one who may have missed that critical piece of information or fell asleep during that class.  And I certainly have never seen literature at Planned Parenthood talking about this subject matter.
So my positive intention in every way possible is to have it be a mission of mine to reach young women with this information. Certainly producing a segment with this information will help to get the word out to women and mothers with young daughters.   Fortunately for me…I am at the end of my cycle and although I would have rather planned it with a lifetime partner…I am delighted that I have the opportunity to be a mother before it is possibly too late for me!  I know many women who are waiting until they are into their 40’s…hoping to manifest the ‘perfect relationship’ and when they decide to take action on their own…it is too late for them and they have to adopt to have a child.  I am overjoyed that I can be the one to bring such a special little angel in the world no matter the surprise or the circumstances.
